The WI isn’t just for ‘ladies of a certain age’; recently, the WI has seen the launch of several new “Lite” groups across the UK, with membership about as far removed from the stereotypical perception of the WI as possible.
The Wylye Women think we work bloomin’ hard in our everyday lives, juggling families, being a domestic goddess and a career and deserve a bit of “me time” with our friends; enjoying laughs and the odd glass of wine, and maybe discover some hidden talents. So we steer clear of any boring talks, our time is too precious and focus on events that are enjoyable and provide us with the opportunity to try something a bit different.
